The BN 20-RZ-M16 is a magnetic proximity switch with a rectangular housing, designed for use in demanding industrial environments. Its magnetic operating principle ensures wear-free switching and provides a mechanical lifespan of at least 1 billion switching cycles.

The switch features a latching function and a preload magnet, ensuring high repeat accuracy and reliable switching operations. The switching distance can vary between 5 mm and 50 mm, depending on the type of actuator magnet used.

With an IP67 protection rating, the BN 20-RZ-M16 is well-protected against dust and water and operates in an ambient temperature range of -25 °C to +90 °C. It supports switching voltages up to 250 VAC and switching currents up to 3 A, with a maximum switching capacity of 120 W / 120 VA.

The switch uses reed contacts and is equipped with an M20 screw connection for easy installation. The actuator is not included and must be ordered separately.
