The BNS 16-12ZV is a compact and reliable magnetic safety sensor designed for industrial safety applications. Its housing, made of glass-fiber-reinforced thermoplastic, ensures durability and long service life. The sensor operates on a magnetic principle and is suitable for non-flush mounting conditions. With a low coding level according to EN ISO 14119, it provides secure monitoring of safety guards across various applications.

The sensor features a front-facing active area and is activated by a magnet moving frontally toward it. Secure switching distances of 8 mm (Sao) and 18 mm (Sar) ensure precise operation. The BNS 16-12ZV supports an electrical lifespan of up to 25 million switching cycles and requires an evaluation unit for operation. It is suitable for environments with temperatures ranging from -25 °C to +70 °C and meets the IP67 protection standard.

Electrically, the sensor offers 1 normally open (NO) and 2 normally closed (NC) contacts with a maximum switching power of 10 W. Its compact dimensions and versatile connection options make it easy to install and compatible with a wide range of safety control devices.
