The AZ 16 ZVK-M16 is a versatile electromechanical safety switch designed for industrial applications. Its robust housing, made of glass-fiber-reinforced, self-extinguishing thermoplastic, ensures compliance with EN ISO 13849-1, EN ISO 14119, and EN IEC 60947-5-1 standards. The low coding level according to EN ISO 14119 makes it user-friendly.

The switch features a positively driven Normally Closed (NC) contact and a Normally Open (NO) contact, operating on a slow-action switching principle. It offers a mechanical lifespan of at least 1 million operations and is classified up to Performance Level d (when used in a dual-channel configuration). With an IP67 protection rating and an operating temperature range of -30 °C to +80 °C, the AZ 16 ZVK-M16 is ideal for challenging environments.

Installation is facilitated by screw terminals and three cable entries (M16 x 1.5). The switch supports solid and flexible cables with a cross-section ranging from 0.25 mm² to 2.5 mm². The maximum actuation speed is 2 m/s, and the positive opening force is at least 10 N.
