The AZM 170-02ZRKA 24VAC/DC is an electromechanical safety switch designed for industrial applications. It meets the highest safety standards according to EN ISO 13849-1, EN ISO 14119, and EN IEC 60947-5-1. With a robust housing made of glass-fiber-reinforced, self-extinguishing thermoplastic, this switch offers durability and resistance to external influences.

The switch operates on the working current principle and features two positively driven Normally Closed (NC) contacts. A maximum locking force of 1,300 N ensures reliable safety, even in demanding conditions. The AZM 170-02ZRKA is suitable for applications involving sliding, removable, or hinged guards.

With an IP67 protection rating and an operating temperature range of -25 °C to +60 °C, the switch is ideal for harsh environments. The cutting-clamp connection technology allows for easy wiring without ferrules. Wiring is facilitated through one cable entry (M20 x 1.5), supporting flexible cables with cross-sections from 0.75 mm² to 1 mm².

Note: The actuator is not included in the delivery. An optional M5 triangular key for manual release is available as an accessory.
