The AZ 17/170-B11 actuator from Schmersal is a robust and reliable solution for safely operating safety switches in industrial applications. Made of stainless steel, the actuator offers excellent corrosion resistance and a long service life.

The straight actuator provides flexible application options for both hinged and rotating safety guards. The minimum actuation radius is 140 mm via the narrow side and 200 mm via the wide side of the actuator, allowing precise adaptation to various setups.

An important installation note is that the hinge pivot point and the top edge of the safety switch must be aligned, with an additional clearance of 37.5 mm.

With a gross weight of only 28 g, the actuator is lightweight yet sturdy, making handling and installation easy.
