The BN 80-RZ from Schmersal is a magnetic proximity switch with latching function, designed for industrial applications. Its glass-fiber reinforced thermoplastic housing ensures durability and reliability in demanding environments.

The BN 80-RZ is side-actuated and connected via cable. It has a minimum mechanical lifespan of 1 billion switching cycles, making it suitable for high-frequency applications. The switch supports maximum switching voltages of 200 VAC/DC with a maximum switching capacity of 10 VA.

The switching distance is up to 60 mm, depending on the actuator magnet used. The BN 80-RZ operates on a latching principle, ensuring that the switch remains in position until it is actuated again.

Important Note: The actuator is not included in the delivery. Recommended actuators include BP 10, BP 15 S, and BP 34 S.
