The BN 310-01Z from Schmersal is a magnetic proximity switch with a normally closed (NC) contact, specifically designed for use in elevator applications and other safety-critical environments. With a durable glass-fiber reinforced thermoplastic housing and a minimum mechanical lifespan of 1 billion switching cycles, the switch ensures reliable performance in industrial settings.

The BN 310-01Z is side-actuated and mounted using elongated holes for flexible installation. The switching distance is up to 50 mm, depending on the actuator magnet used.

The proximity switch supports switching voltages up to 250 VAC/DC and a maximum switching power of 120 W. It comes with a 1-meter cable with a wire cross-section of 0.75 mm².

Important Note: The actuator is not included in the delivery. Recommended actuators include BP 10, BP 15, or BE 20.
