The magnetic safety sensor BNS 180-02Z is an ideal solution for monitoring protective devices in safety-critical applications. Made of fiberglass-reinforced thermoplastic, the robust housing provides high mechanical stability and is protected against dust and water ingress with an IP67 rating.

The sensor operates on a magnetic principle and features two normally closed (NC) contacts. With a lifespan of up to 25,000,000 switching cycles (B10D) and a service life of 20 years, it meets high safety standards according to EN ISO 13849-1. The BNS 180-02Z can be installed flush with the surface, simplifying installation.

The connection cable is 1 meter long and has a PVC sheath. The secured switching distances are up to 20 mm for ON" (Sao) and up to 32 mm for "OFF (Sar), depending on the actuator used.
