The magnetic safety sensor BNS 180-11Z is a reliable solution for monitoring protective devices in safety-critical applications. With a robust housing made of fiberglass-reinforced thermoplastic and an IP67 protection rating, it is ideal for use in demanding environments.

The sensor operates on a magnetic principle and can be installed flush with the surface. With a maximum lifespan of 25,000,000 switching cycles (B10D) and a service life of 20 years, it meets high safety standards according to EN ISO 13849-1. The sensor features one normally closed (NC) and one normally open (NO) contact, allowing for flexible integration into safety circuits.

The connection cable is 1 meter long, has a cross-section of 0.25 mm² (23 AWG), and is made of PVC. The secured switching distances reach up to 20 mm (Sao) for ON and up to 32 mm (Sar) for OFF, depending on the actuator.
