The PLANET MC-700 is a high-density 25,4 cm ( 10 inch ) rack-mountable media converter chassis designed to accommodate up to seven hot-swappable media converter modules. Compact yet powerful, the MC-700 is ideal for structured fiber-optic deployments in enterprise, campus, or edge networks, saving space while simplifying converter management.

Each slot is independently powered and electrically isolated, enabling hot-swappable installation without affecting other slots. It supports a wide range of PLANET media converters, including Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, VDSL2, and serial-over-Ethernet modules. A built-in fan and LED indicators for power and fan status ensure reliable cooling and operational visibility.
