The PLANET MC-1610MR and MC-1610MR48 are advanced 48,3 cm ( 19 inch ) rack-mountable managed media converter chassis designed for FTTx applications across ISPs, telecoms, enterprises, and campus networks. Supporting up to 16 hot-swappable slots and full centralized management capabilities, these chassis are optimized for Smart Media Converters from PLANET’s FST-80x, GST-80x, and XST-705A series, enabling Fast, Gigabit, and 10G Ethernet fiber conversion.
The MC-1610MR series supports SNMP, Web, and console management interfaces, with real-time status monitoring of each installed media converter. Designed for high availability, it includes redundant AC or -48V DC power inputs and temperature-controlled fan cooling. Integrated monitoring for power and fan failures helps prevent downtime in mission-critical deployments.
