The PLANET MC-1500 is a high-quality 48,3 cm ( 19 inch ) rack-mountable media converter chassis that accommodates up to 15 modular media converters. Designed for space-saving and centralized fiber-optic wiring management, the MC-1500 serves as an ideal media conversion center with a compact 2.4U form factor.

Each bay in the chassis operates with independent power, allowing hot-swappable installation or replacement of converters without affecting other network connections. Two built-in cooling fans with LED indicators ensure stable operation and easy system monitoring. The MC-1500 supports a wide variety of PLANET media converters, including Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, copper-to-fiber, and SX-to-LX conversions.
