The PLANET LRE-101 is an industrial Ethernet-over-UTP extender designed to extend Ethernet connections over long distances using existing UTP cables or phone wires. Equipped with one 10/100BASE-TX RJ45 port and one UTP RJ45 interface, the compact LRE-101 delivers up to 100 Mbps duplex transmission over distances up to 1.2 km.
Configurable via a DIP switch for Master/Slave mode, the device is perfect for point-to-point applications such as IP surveillance, digital signage, education, or any scenario requiring long-distance Ethernet connectivity. It supports plug-and-play setup, secure transmission with AES encryption, and integration into PLANET media converter chassis (MC-700/MC-1500 series). Mounting is possible on a DIN rail or wall.
With Wavelet-OFDM modulation, VLAN transparency, and robust metal housing, the LRE-101 ensures stable, secure, and cost-effective Ethernet extension.
