PLANET IGT-1205AT – Flexible and Rugged Industrial Media Converter with Redundant Fiber Links
The PLANET IGT-1205AT is a high-performance Industrial Gigabit Media Converter designed to extend Ethernet networks over long distances in harsh environments. Featuring one 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ45 port and two 100/1000/2500BASE-X SFP interfaces, it supports either a 3-port switch mode or a 2-port fiber redundancy mode, configurable via DIP switch.
The redundancy function ensures uninterrupted service in mission-critical applications, automatically switching traffic to a backup fiber link when the primary fails. Built with an IP30-rated metal enclosure and wide operating temperature range (-40 to +75 °C), this converter is ideal for deployments in transportation cabinets, outdoor surveillance, or factory automation systems.
