The PLANET ELA-100 Ethernet Lightning Arrest Box is designed to protect Ethernet-connected equipment from potentially damaging lightning-induced surges. Built for the demands of modern Gigabit and PoE networks, it offers up to 20KA surge protection and full passthrough for IEEE 802.3at (PoE+) and IEEE 802.3bt (PoE++) power.
Equipped with two passive 10/100/1000BASE-T ports and a dedicated ground terminal, the ELA-100 installs between two Ethernet devices and is ideal for outdoor deployments with shelter—perfect for safeguarding PoE cameras, wireless APs, and switches.

Installation Tip:
For full protection, the ELA-100 must be properly grounded. Connect your Ethernet device to the protected port and the incoming line to the unprotected port.
