The ZTE ZXHN H288A is a powerful AC1200 dual-band Wi-Fi router with an integrated VDSL2 and SuperVectoring modem (Profile 35B), configurable as either a bridge modem or a full-featured gateway router. It supports modern VDSL2 technologies such as G.Vector and G.INP to achieve maximum data rates in multimode operation, making it particularly suitable for demanding network applications. The router features a robust remote management standard (TR069), enabling centralized monitoring and configuration over the network—ideal for professional network environments. With two integrated FXS ports (available only in router mode), it supports VoIP services, although German dial tones cannot be set. The integrated USB 2.0 interface allows connection of storage devices or 3G/4G dongles for additional network functionalities. The device offers a stable Wi-Fi standard with 802.11b/g/n in the 2.4 GHz band (2x2) and 802.11a/n/ac in the 5 GHz band (2x2), ensuring reliable, high-quality wireless connectivity for multiple end devices. The LAN interface includes four Gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mbit/s) for fast wired connections. The WAN interface supports VDSL2/ADSL2+ as well as Gigabit Ethernet, with ADSL2+ available only in Annex A mode—making the device incompatible with German providers using Annex B. The default IP address is 192.168.1.1, and the admin password is pre-set to Haikui_V2.
