SR3D Safety Control Device – Universal, Safe, and Reliable

The SR3D is a universal safety control device with three safe relay outputs that ensures the fast and safe shutdown of moving parts of a machine or system in the event of danger. It is specifically designed for use in continuous operation of firing systems in accordance with EN 50156-1 and EN 746-2, as well as for use on ships, for which it has been certified by TÜV Rheinland and Germanischer Lloyd.

### Safety Functions in Detail
The SR3D guarantees the safe separation of safety circuits in accordance with EN 60204-1, enabling a safety stop function up to PL e / SIL 3 in accordance with EN ISO 13849-1 and IEC 61508.

• Standard-compliant shutdown: When an emergency stop button is pressed, the release paths are immediately opened, and the machine is safely shut down.
• Redundant relays: Even if one relay fails, the function is maintained, as the cyclic self-monitoring detects and addresses errors.

### Mounting Instructions
For flawless operation, the following guidelines must be observed:

• Mounting on a 35 mm DIN rail according to EN 60715 TH35
• Minimum protection class IP54 – Must be installed in control cabinets with sufficient heat dissipation
• Distance from adjacent devices: For the AC 115 V / 230 V variant, a distance of at least 10 mm from adjacent devices must be maintained.
