ZCode-LR: Tamper-Proof, Contactless Safety Switch with RFID and Magnetic Technology

The ZCode-LR is a tamper-proof, contactless safety switch that combines magnetic and RFID technology. This dual-channel and diversified principle offers maximum protection against tampering. Activation can only be performed by the corresponding actuator, preventing unauthorized manipulation.

The high-quality plastic housing allows the ZCode-LR to be used in harsh environments, such as dusty, hot, or humid areas. Thanks to its IP67 and IP69K protection ratings, the switch is fully encapsulated, making it both dustproof and waterproof. The ZCode-LR can be mounted behind stainless steel and supports four different actuation directions. With a positional offset tolerance of up to 5 mm and a switching distance of up to 10 mm, the switch offers increased flexibility during installation.

The ZCode-LR features two contactless safety outputs and one signal output. It operates with self-monitoring over two channels with cross-circuit monitoring. The device is connected to a safety relay (e.g., ZANDER SR series, MINOS SD series), a safety logic (e.g., ZANDER MINOS SL series), or a safety controller (e.g., ZANDER TALOS series). Up to 20 modules can be connected in series without reducing the safety level.

Available versions:

• Unicode: Only a specific corresponding actuator can activate the switch.
• Mastercode: Any actuator from the series can activate the switch.

These two versions enable flexible adaptation to different safety requirements. The ZCode-LR is certified up to PL e, Category 4 according to EN ISO 13849-1 and Type 4 according to ISO 14119.
