The EPR-WG is a robust, absolute single-turn encoder designed for use with programmable controllers like EPR16, EPR48, EPC16, and EPC48. Featuring optoelectronic, contactless scanning and a durable mechanical structure, it is suitable for high-load and high-speed applications.

Installation Notes:

• Mount on the front side using 3 M4 screws
• Use a suitable membrane coupling for shaft connection (see accessories)
• Protect against:
- Electrostatic discharge
- Excessive mechanical forces on the shaft
- Impacts, shocks, and vibrations
- Extreme temperatures and chemical exposure


Note:

From 2020 onward, rotation direction can no longer be changed via a jumper on the device. Use the 585738 adapter cable to reverse the direction.
