PROFINET POF repeater is used to diagnose light signals. The device determines exactly when the attenuation has reached a critical point and a hose package needs to be replaced. The LEDs clearly signal an alarm when the tolerance is exceeded. To ensure secure transmission of the Ethernet data used, 'FreeCon Active' checks the entire transmission path in real time for its optical budget - for example from the control cabinet to the robot head. The repeater complies with the AIDA specifications.
