Product Description:

The Operator Panel OP 03 (603-1OP00) is a compact operator panel designed for industrial applications. It features an STN display with LED backlighting, displaying two lines of 20 characters each. With a character height of 5 mm, the display ensures clear readability. The panel supports multiple languages, including German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Swedish, Norwegian, and Danish, and offers 256 KB of user memory for project storage. It can be configured using the VIPA OP-Manager or Siemens ProTool.

The panel uses a membrane keyboard with 8 system keys and 5 soft keys for user interaction. It supports the MP²I interface and is equipped with a 9-pin Sub-D connector. The power supply operates at a nominal 24 V DC, with a permissible range of 20.4 V to 28.8 V. For additional safety, the device includes reverse polarity protection.

The OP 03 features a rugged die-cast aluminum housing and offers IP65 protection on the front side, safeguarding it against dust and water splashes. Installation is made easy with the integrated pivoted lever. The panel is suited for demanding industrial environments with an operating temperature range of 0 °C to 60 °C.
