The NYM-J 3x2.5 cable in 100-m reel is a robust, versatile installation cable manufactured according to VDE 0250 Part 204. It is suitable for use in households, industry, and outdoor applications — in both dry and wet rooms. The cable can be installed on, in, and under plaster, in masonry, and in concrete (excluding tremie, vibrated, or rammed concrete). For outdoor use, protective measures against direct sunlight are required to ensure service life and performance. The copper conductor is bare and single-strand for cross-sections up to 10 mm², with multi-strand construction provided from 16 mm² onwards. The core insulation is made of PVC according to VDE 0207 T. 4, and the outer sheath is gray and also made of PVC, providing high mechanical and chemical resistance. The cable features a filler sheath and is marked according to VDE 0293-308, enabling clear identification of the cores.

The NYM-J 3x2.5 is characterized by high electrical safety: the rated voltage is 300/500 V, and the test voltage is 2000 V. The maximum operating temperature is +70 °C, and the cable can withstand temperatures from -40 °C to +70 °C after installation. During installation, a temperature range of +5 °C to +70 °C must be maintained. The bending radius is 4 times the cable diameter for fixed installation, allowing for flexible handling. The cable is designed for permanent, reliable power supply in various applications, including industrial facilities, residential buildings, and outdoor installations.
