The TL-MC1400 14-slot rack chassis is specifically designed to accommodate 14 TP-LINK media converters to accommodate the central power supply. This saves space and power cables. Continuous operation is of great importance for fiber optic communication, therefore the chassis is equipped with an optional redundant power supply and with a hot swapping function that allows the converter/power supply to be mounted/dismantled without turning off the chassis .
