With four external dual-band antennas, the RE650 creates a WLAN with coverage of up to 1,000 m² with any router. The 880 MHz dual-core processor ensures maximum WiFi performance while you move freely around your home with your smartphone or tablet. Using the new beamforming, devices to be connected are spatially recognized and the WLAN signal is specifically amplified in their direction.
Using 4-stream technology, the RE650 achieves incredible WiFi speeds of up to 800 Mbit/s on the 2.4 GHz and 1733 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz band. This means that demanding online applications, such as simultaneous 4k streaming and lag-free gaming, become a matter of course and thanks to MU-MIMO, up to four devices can be used simultaneously and waiting times are reduced - this makes the RE650 four times as fast as conventional routers.
Thanks to the intelligent signal strength display, the optimal operating location of the RE650 can be found quickly and, if cable access is available, it even becomes a MU-MIMO dual-band WLAN access point thanks to the integrated access point mode. You can easily control and manage your repeater from anywhere using your smartphone using the TP-Link “Tether” app.
