The MC200CM is a media converter which is designed to 1000BASE-SX Fiber Media in 1000Base-T copper media or to convert vice versa. The MC200CM was designed and intended for use with multimode fiber optic cables and the SC connector according to the 1000Base-T standard (IEEE802.3ab) and the 1000Base-SX standard (IEEE802.3z). The MC200CM supports shortwave (SX) laser specification at a forwarding rate, corresponding to the full bandwidth. It works at 850nm both transmitting and receiving data.
