The Telegärtner MFP8 Cat.8.1 connector is perfect for creating direct connections between devices or for custom assembly of patch cords. This field-assembly connector features a robust zinc die-cast housing and a cable gland that fits cable diameters from 5.5 to 10.0 mm. It can be assembled on-site to installation and patch cables of Category Cat.8.1/Cat.8.2 with copper conductors ranging from AWG27/7 to AWG22/7 or AWG26/1 to AWG22/1 without the need for special tools. The connector is backward compatible with Class EA as per ISO/IEC 11801-1 and supports 25G and 40GBase-T applications according to IEEE 802.3bq. It comes with a pre-installed dust cover for additional protection and supports up to 750 mating cycles.
