Overload and short circuits in one or more branches are reliably detected. The electronics allow short-term current peaks, e.g. due to high inrush current, and switch branches with longer overloads off. This is ensured even on high-impedance lines and in the event of creeping short circuits. The intact branches continue to be supplied with 24 V without interruption or feedback, thus minimizing system downtimes. The faulty branch is signaled via LEDs on the device and via a common signaling contact. The outputs meet the requirements of NEC Class 2.
