This SSI encoder interface module is part of the Modicon X80 range, a common input/output offering for Modicon M340 and Modicon M580. This encoder interface module has 3 SSI channels. The Modicon X80 automation platform meets the requirements of TC treatment (all climate treatment) and can operate in a temperature range of 0°C to +60°C/32°F to 140°F. Modicon X80 modules provide a unified environment for the use of I/O modules in automation architectures by reducing the costs of spare parts inventory, maintenance and training. It is an encoder interface module with a nominal supply voltage of 24 V DC and a current consumption of 250 mA at 3.3 V DC. The housing provides IP20 protection for the electronics. This product complies with CE, UL, CSA, RCM and EAC standards and is certified for power generation, merchant marine, railway and hazardous area applications. This input is compatible with 24V DC SSI absolute encoders for 200mA per channel. The product must be installed in the module carrier and secured with 2 screws.
