This communication module is part of the Modicon M580 range, a range of programmable automation controllers (PACs) and safety-related programmable logic controllers (PLCs) with integrated Ethernet. The BMENOP0300C module enables IEC 61850 compliant data exchange in industrial, energy and power grid applications. Thanks to a protective coating on the printed circuit board, this product can be used in harsh environments with a temperature range of -25°C to +60°C/-13°F to 140°F. This product complies with CE, UL, CSA, RCM, EAC, UKCA and ATEX/IECEx standards for Zone 2/22 and is certified for power generation, merchant marine, railway and hazardous area applications. This connector assembly is compatible with the full range of M580 CPUs and must be installed on a BMEXBPxxx - Ethernet + X-Bus module carrier. The communication module occupies one slot in the rack. This product can be used in combination with Modicon X80 (I/O, module carrier, cables) and works with the EcoStruxure Control Expert programming software.
