The Altivar Machine ATV320 range is a variable speed drive offering designed for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Its compact form factor allows vertical stacking of drives in machine frames. It operates with rated power up to 11 kW / 15 HP and rated voltage from 200 V to 240 V AC. Its robust construction with coated circuit boards class 3C3 according to IEC 60721-3-3 allows extending machine availability in harsh environmental conditions. Such as ambient temperatures up to 60°C without the need for additional cooling. It has features suitable for the most common applications including torque and speed accuracy at very low speeds, high dynamic performance with sensorless flux vector control. It has extended frequency range for high speed motors. It also allows parallel connection of motors and special drives using voltage/frequency ratio. As well as static speed accuracy and energy saving for open loop synchronous motors. It weighs 6.8 kg and has dimensions of 180 mm width, 330 mm height and 198 mm depth. The drive software includes 5 safety functions. These help machines meet safety requirements whether they are used in conjunction with a Preventa safety module or not. The type of external accessories and options depends on the drive power. The product is delivered in a box. It is designed to be mounted in a vertical position (+/- 10°) on a plate thanks to 4 fixing holes. It is fully integrated into the Schneider Electric EcoStruxure machine via DTM. It is possible to configure, control and diagnose ATV320 drives directly in the SoMachine and SoMove software using the same software building block (DTM). It is environmentally friendly and complies with directives such as RoHS, WEEE, etc. on environmental protection.
