The AZM201B-ST-T-AS-P is a RFID-controlled safety switch with integrated AS-Interface (AS-i) Safety-Slave functionality, designed for securing protective devices such as doors, covers, or hatches. It operates on the closed-circuit principle and provides tamper-proof protection through the use of universal coding.

Certified by TÜV, cULus, and ASi-SaW, the AZM201B-ST-T-AS-P meets the highest safety standards up to Performance Level e (PL e) and Category 4 according to EN ISO 13849-1. The switch achieves a Safety Integrity Level (SIL) 3 and is suitable for monitoring safety-critical machine movements.

The switch uses an RFID system operating at 125 kHz to reliably detect the actuator. The integrated status display with LEDs provides information on the current operating status, communication errors, and tampering attempts.

With a high retention force of up to 2,600 N, the switch also includes an escape release, which can be operated from inside using a triangular key (included in the delivery). The electrical connection is made via a 4-pin M12 connector, and the device is designed for AS-i Version 3.0.

The AZM201B-ST-T-AS-P is suitable for use in harsh environments, certified to IP66 and IP67 protection classes.
