The AZM 161SK-12/03RK-024 is an electromechanical safety switch characterized by its robust construction and high reliability. Featuring a self-extinguishing, fiberglass-reinforced plastic housing with an IP67 protection rating, it is ideal for demanding applications. This safety switch operates on the closed-circuit principle and provides comprehensive safety features, including five safety contacts and one auxiliary contact.

It offers a maximum retention force of 2,600 N and a mechanical lifespan of at least 1,000,000 switching cycles. Installation is straightforward with screw terminals and four cable entries (M16 x 1.5). Its application areas include sliding, removable, and rotating protective devices, supporting a maximum actuation speed of 2 m/s.

With an integrated auxiliary release that can be operated using a separately available M5 triangular key, the switch is ideal for maintenance and setup tasks.
