Product Description (English):

The SD-I-DP-V0-2 PROFIBUS Gateway from K.A. Schmersal GmbH & Co. KG enables the integration of safety sensors and protective devices into PROFIBUS networks. It provides a secure and reliable interface for serial diagnostics (SD) in the daisy-chaining of safety components. Designed for industrial applications, this gateway facilitates the monitoring and control of safety systems in complex installations.

The gateway features an integrated status display with four LEDs to indicate the device’s status and the PROFIBUS network condition. The LEDs provide information about power supply, initialization, and potential error states. The SD-I-DP-V0-2 is connected via spring clamp terminals and can be quickly mounted on a DIN rail according to DIN EN 60715.

The compact housing with dimensions of 50 mm width, 72 mm height, and 97 mm depth has a protection rating of IP10. It operates reliably within a temperature range of -5 °C to +55 °C and can withstand transport and storage temperatures between -25 °C and +85 °C. The gateway is vibration and shock resistant and meets the requirements of Overvoltage Category II.

With an operating voltage of 24 VDC and a maximum operating current of 250 mA, the SD-I-DP-V0-2 is suitable for use with PELV power supplies. The gateway allows detailed diagnostics in safety circuits with devices such as AZ 200, AZM 200, CSS 30S, CSS 34, and MZM 100.
