The AZM 161SK-12/12RKED-024 is a versatile electromechanical safety switch designed for industrial applications. Its fiberglass-reinforced, self-extinguishing plastic housing and IP67 protection rating ensure high reliability and durability in demanding environments.

The switch operates on the closed-circuit principle and is equipped with four safety contacts and two auxiliary contacts. With a maximum retention force of 2,600 N and a mechanical lifespan of at least 1,000,000 switching cycles, it is ideal for use with sliding, removable, and rotating protective devices.

The AZM 161SK-12/12RKED-024 supports three approach directions and offers flexible installation with screw terminals and four cable entries (M16 x 1.5). The auxiliary release can be manually operated using a separately available M5 triangular key, facilitating maintenance and setup. Additionally, the special "-ED" mounting option allows installation on the housing's cover side.

This safety switch complies with EN ISO 13849-1 and EN IEC 60947-5-1 standards and is suitable for operating temperatures from -30 °C to +60 °C.
