The SE-T70 End Cap from K.A. Schmersal GmbH & Co. KG is a rubber profile protector specifically designed for use on safety edge strips. The end cap is made of high-quality EPDM rubber with a hardness of 65 Shore A, providing excellent resistance to permanent deformation. It offers optimal protection and ensures a clean closure for edge strips in machinery and plant engineering.

The black end cap is highly resistant to acids and can withstand extreme temperatures. It is short-term resistant to temperatures ranging from -50 °C to +170 °C and long-term resistant from -30 °C to +140 °C, making it suitable for demanding environments.

However, the material shows low resistance to fuels, solvents, and oils. Despite this, it offers good rebound elasticity at 20 °C, ensuring that the end cap retains its shape and provides reliable sealing.

With a width of 30 mm and a height of approximately 70 mm, the SE-T70 End Cap is compact and easy to install. It is commonly used in applications where safety edges or protective profiles require a secure and clean finish to ensure safe operation.
