The IFL 8-18-10 proximity sensor is a high-quality cylindrical sensor with an M18 thread, designed for precise object detection in industrial applications. With a nominal switching distance of 8 mm and a non-flush mounting condition, this sensor is ideal for applications requiring a larger switching distance. The housing is made of nickel-plated brass, making it corrosion-resistant and durable. The active sensing surface and nut are also made from robust materials.

The sensor includes an integrated yellow LED status indicator for easy operational checks. With a protection rating of IP67, it is dust-tight and water-resistant, making it suitable for demanding environments. The sensor operates reliably in ambient temperatures ranging from -25 to +70 °C and withstands mechanical stresses such as vibration and shock.

The IFL 8-18-10 is supplied with a 2-meter cable with a PVC sheath. It operates within a voltage range of 15 to 250 VAC and can switch a maximum current of 500 mA. The built-in inductive protection circuit provides additional protection against voltage spikes.
