The IFL 5-18-01 proximity sensor is a robust and reliable sensor designed for precise object detection in industrial applications. The sensor features a M18 threaded cylindrical housing and is suitable for flush mounting. Its housing is made of nickel-plated brass, providing corrosion resistance and ensuring long service life in demanding environments. The active sensing surface is made of durable plastic, while the nut is also made of brass.

The sensor offers a nominal switching distance of 5 mm and is equipped with a normally closed (NC) contact. It has an integrated yellow LED status indicator for quick operational checks. With a protection rating of IP67, the sensor is dust-tight and water-resistant, operating reliably in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70 °C. Its shock resistance of 30 g / 11 ms and vibration resistance make it ideal for harsh industrial environments.

The IFL 5-18-01 comes with a 2-meter cable with a PVC sheath and supports two-wire circuitry. It operates within a voltage range of 15 to 250 VAC and can switch a maximum current of 500 mA. The built-in inductive protection circuit provides additional protection against voltage spikes.
