The TRT-400 A is a speaker connection module with integrated volume control, designed for use in EN 54-17 certified electroacoustic emergency warning and voice alarm systems (ENS/SAA). Unlike isolators, it has no disconnection function and must always be placed between two isolators (such as TRC-800 A or TRT-200 A).
The module supports two usage scenarios: It allows for individual volume adjustment of a general background music feed, or it can be used to inject a separate 100V audio program to the connected loudspeaker. In both cases, the volume control is automatically bypassed during emergency announcements, ensuring full-volume playback.
Powered via the Ringbus and controlled by the TRC-800 A, the TRT-400 A also monitors its connections for faults such as short circuits, open circuits, and ground faults.
