The TRT-300 A is a specialized emergency switching module within the VARES-LOOP system and not a Ringbus isolator. It is integrated directly into the Ringbus and automatically disconnects downstream speaker circuits in the event of an alarm or emergency announcement. This enables priority control over 100V speaker lines, essential for voice alarm systems.
Equipped with two potential-free changeover relays (230 V AC / 8 A each), the module offers flexible response options: one relay can activate strobe lights, while the other disconnects speakers to ensure that priority announcements are broadcast without interference.
Power is supplied via the Ringbus. An internal capacitor, charged by the TRC-800 A controller, stores enough energy for at least two emergency switching cycles. The module also provides basic line monitoring, allows room-specific volume adjustments, and supports the injection of custom 100V audio programs.
