The TRC-800A Ringbus Controller is the central control unit in the VARES-LOOP system, positioned between power amplifiers and speaker lines. It supplies connected Ringbus modules – such as the TRT-200A – with power, monitors line status, and manages the data exchange between Ringbus components and the electroacoustic emergency warning system (ENS or SAA).
With the included Ringbus Controller software, modules can be operated in two modes: the Service Mode for setup and commissioning of the system, and the Tracking Mode to pinpoint which Ringbus isolator has detected a fault.
Thanks to its slim DIN rail design (just 1 module width), the TRC-800A is easy to integrate into control cabinets. It reliably detects various fault conditions – such as ground fault, short circuit, open line, or disconnected amplifier input – and activates the fault relay in case of errors.
