The VARES-2000 Control Center is the central management unit of the VARES-2000 system and handles all functions and monitoring of a voice alarm system (VAS). Thanks to its decentralized architecture, it operates without a master/slave principle, enabling easy and flexible networking even in complex environments.

Designed for high scalability, the system can manage up to 1,500 speaker lines grouped into a maximum of 255 call zones. It continuously monitors all system components, including mains voltage, battery, amplifiers, microphones, and speaker lines. Support for loop technology and end-of-line (EOL) supervision ensures full compliance and safety.

Two simultaneous audio signals are processed through a digital switch matrix with dynamic stream assignment. Up to 32 NDA-1000 A amplifiers can be controlled via the AMP-Link module. Remote line extenders (NLE-406A) deliver the audio signals to specific speaker zones.

The Control Center includes monitored and unmonitored GPI and GPO interfaces as well as local and global network ports. It communicates with the amplifiers via the VARES-2000 data bus. The configuration is handled using the same reliable software platform as the VARES-1500 system, ensuring seamless integration.
