The PLANET QSFP-100G series includes high-performance QSFP28 (Quad Small Form Factor Pluggable) transceiver modules designed for high-speed duplex data links over optical fiber. These modules fully comply with the QSFP28 MSA (Multi-Source Agreement) and support hot-plugging, allowing for easy installation without interrupting the operation of host devices.
With built-in Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM), these transceivers offer real-time monitoring of key metrics such as temperature, laser bias current, input/output optical power, and supply voltage—making them highly serviceable and efficient for data center deployments.
The QSFP-100G series supports both short-range (QSFP-100G-SR4) and long-range (QSFP-100G-LR4) communication. The SR4 model uses multi-mode fiber and MPO/MTP connectors for up to 100 meters of distance, while the LR4 model uses single-mode fiber with LC connectors to reach up to 10 kilometers. Both models operate efficiently in environments ranging from 0 to 70 °C.
