The KFU8-GUT-1.D is a 1-channel signal isolator and temperature transmitter designed for safe and reliable signal processing in industrial applications. It enables universal use with various supply voltages and processes input signals from thermocouples, RTDs, potentiometers, or voltage sources. A special feature is the redundant input for thermocouples, which increases system availability. The output is provided via a current output 0/4 mA to 20 mA and two relay contact outputs, which can be used for limit value monitoring. Configuration is flexible via PACTware or directly through the integrated control panel, ensuring quick commissioning and maintenance. The integrated cable fault and sensor break detection ensures high diagnostic capability and enhances operational safety. The device achieves a Safety Integrity Level (SIL) up to SIL 2 according to IEC/EN 61508 and IEC/EN 61511, making it suitable for safety-critical applications in the process industry. The compact design with a housing width of 40 mm allows efficient mounting in standard control panels.
