The Fast Ethernet (FE) SFP Transceivers from MICROSENS offer a compact, reliable, and flexible solution for networks with bandwidths of up to 155 Mbps. These transceivers are available in Multimode, Singlemode, and WDM variants, covering transmission distances ranging from 2 km (Multimode) to 40 km (Singlemode). They are ideal for use in Fast Ethernet networks as well as STM-1 and (model-dependent) OC-3 applications.

The Small Form Factor Pluggable (SFP) design allows for space-saving installation with maximum density per line card and supports hot-swapping, enabling modules to be replaced during operation without network interruption. Variants with integrated Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) allow for monitoring of operational parameters such as temperature, signal levels, and supply voltage.

The WDM models allow bidirectional data transmission over a single fiber by utilizing different wavelengths for transmitting (TX) and receiving (RX). Industrial-grade variants with an extended operating temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C are available for demanding environments.

The transceivers comply with Multi Source Agreement (MSA) and SFF-8472 standards, ensuring maximum compatibility with a wide range of network components.
