More range for PoE connections
The Intellinet 2-Port Gigabit High-Power PoE+ Extender, model 561266, extends the range of a connection between a PoE source and two PoE end devices An additional 100 m via Cat5 or Cat6 cable. This overcomes the 100 m range limitation that normally limits PoE connections. No power supply is required for power; the extender draws power directly from the PoE source.
Less cabling costs
Access points, cameras and VoIP telephones that would otherwise be too far away from your switch or injector to power you via PoE are within reach with this extender. This saves you time and money on power cables and sockets that you would have to lay without PoE.
Power over Ethernet 802.3at compliant
This Gigabit high-power PoE+ extender supports the IEEE 802.3at protocol. It transports data at up to 1000 Mbit/s and power at up to 30 watts. It is also backwards compatible with IEEE 802.3af PoE devices. The cable length at both ends can be up to 100 m for a total data and power range of 200 m.
Easy Installation
Simply connect your PoE Injector or PoE switch to the “PoE In” port and the PoE end devices such as VoIP telephone or camera to the “PoE Out” ports. That's all. No further configuration is necessary.
