This is made possible by using all four pairs of Cat5 or Cat6 network cables via Ultra PoE. Some examples of Ultra PoE needs: Emergency call systems in hospitals require 30 to 50 watts. Point-of-sale card readers up to 60 watts. Lighting systems and their control units 40 to 50 watts. Thin clients up to 50 watts. Ultra PoE is the power and networking solution for all of these important systems. This Intellinet Gigabit Ultra PoE injector is suitable for all IEEE 802.3af/at compliant devices.
Save a lot of money on cabling
You have in your existing Network only one non-PoE capable switch, but several PoE components such as access points, IP cameras and VoIP phones? This means a lot of effort with double cabling, because all these devices have to be connected with both a power cable and a network cable. It becomes particularly expensive if additional sockets have to be installed, as they are not always within immediate reach. With this PoE injector you avoid this effort. In addition, older network switches can be used for longer without having to upgrade to expensive new PoE switches.
