The Intellinet Gigabit PoE+ Media Converter integrates fiber optic cable into an existing copper cable network for a low-cost and low-labor LAN upgrade while delivering up to 30 watts of power. He works transparently — the performance and functionality remain unchanged, the network will only be expanded to support both media - Copper and fiber optic — expanded.
Higher range
Thanks to the fiber optic support, even distant workgroups can be integrated into your network. Building-to-building connections are easily possible without additional access points.
Power over Ethernet included
The Intellinet Gigabit PoE+ media converter supplies power even where there are no sockets, without the need for complex electrical installations and high costs for an electrician. Thanks to support for the IEEE802.3af / IEEE802.3at protocol, it delivers up to 30 watts of power to compatible devices.
Flexibility in cabling
Thanks to its Compact design, this converter can be used in both desktop applications with limited space and in wall cabinets. Several converters can also be integrated into an Intellinet 19” Install media converter case. - One 10/100/1000 RJ45 port supports a maximum range of 100m
