The PCIe expansion card adds two SATA 6 Gb/s ports and connects SSDs or hard drives directly. Via the selectable modes RAID 0, RAID 1 or SPAN, performance can be increased, data security achieved through mirroring, or existing storage consolidated. Features such as NCQ, Port Multiplier (Windows only) and boot capability support efficient setups.
In professional IT environments and during on-site deployments, the card facilitates expansions without major modifications. It integrates into existing infrastructures of companies and public institutions and enables quick service operations, for example when retrofitting additional drives or building small RAID volumes.
