The InLine PCIe interface card adds two serial RS232 interfaces and one parallel port to modern computer systems, thereby enabling existing devices to continue operating on current PCI Express systems. The card is suitable for applications involving controllers, measurement systems, embedded hardware, modems, barcode devices or parallel-port printers.
The integrated WCH CH382L controller supports 16C550, 16C552, 16C554 and 16C750-compatible UART functions as well as hardware and software flow control. In addition, the integrated FIFO buffer ensures stable data transfers during serial communication.
The parallel interface is IEEE 1284-compliant and supports SPP, PS/2, EPP and ECP modes. This allows compatible parallel devices to continue to operate reliably on modern PCIe systems.
Thanks to the PCIe x1 connection, the interface card can be easily integrated into compatible desktop PCs or industrial systems. The included low-profile slot brackets also allow installation in compact enclosures.
