Retrofit a serial RS-232 interface via PCIeRetrofit RS-232 port via PCIe: Provide a 9-pin serial interface via PCI Express x1.
Stable transmission even under high load: 256 byte FIFO and hardware/software flow control support smooth data exchange.
Wide operating system support: Usable with Windows, Linux, Mac OS, and DOS.
Flexible expansion: Multiple cards per PC can be integrated.
With this PCIe interface card, you add a 9-pin RS-232 port to your system. The card is compatible with the PCI Express specification 1.1 in single-lane operation and, with 256 byte deep FIFO buffers, provides reliable, low-latency communication. Supported data formats such as 5-8 data bits, various parities, and 1 or 2 stop bits make it easy to connect existing serial peripherals.
In professional IT environments, in on-site installations, and in service deployments, the card supports the continued operation of established serial devices within existing infrastructures of companies and public institutions.
